Melissa Bowerman, 43, is accused of second-degree sexual abuse, enticing a minor and second-degree online sexual corruption of a child, all felony offenses. She is also accused of leading to the sexual delinquency.
State troopers and detectives arrested Bowerman at her home in Fossil on Monday, authorities said. Melissa had been held in Madras in the Jefferson County Jail.
State police received a tip earlier this month that Bowerman, who has been coaching at the high school was allegedly involved with an inappropriate relationship with a 17-year-old boy since May, police said. After a following investigation, troopers collected sufficient evidence to detain her, authorities said.
